10. How can I install Destinations
Internet 2.5 on a Windows 98 machine?
The 2.5 CDs will not work on Windows 98 machines. The workaround
for this is to install the management client using the 2.4 Management
CD and install the learner client using the 2.4 Learner CD. The
Management Update Installer (v2.4 to v2.5) can then be run to update
the management client to v2.5. This installer works on the 98 machines.
Note that the first time the user logs into the management client,
they will get the message ‘Please wait – Your system
is being updated’. The learner client does not need to be
updated for the 2.5 version of Destinations Internet.
