MediaWeaver Patch for Student/Learner Software

MediaWeaver Patch Instructions

These instructions tell you how to download and run the patch, which is required to run MediaWeaver lessons on Destinations Internet. (This will take a few seconds to run.)

This patch is required to be installed only if you are running the Writing component in Destinations Internet. Please install this patch only after the Native Lesson Player Plug-in has been installed.

You must have administrative rights to apply this patch.

For Internet Explorer:

1. From the Home page, click the Installations link on the left side of the page.
2. Under "Patch for MediaWeaver lessons in Writing Component," click MediaWeaver Patch.
3. At the File Download window, select the Open button.
4. You will see a WinZip Self Extractor window. Click Browse to select the path c:\Program Files\Destinations 2.0. Ensure that Overwrite files without prompting is checked. Click the Unzip button.

5. WinZip Self Extractor should pop up with a message '5 file(s) unzipped successfully'. Click OK.

6. Click the Close button in step 4. The patch has been applied.
