Avoiding Software that Interferes with Destinations

Read letters from your DECs

ESTP Computers are provided for the ESTP work and projects!

Destinations might not work properly due to the installation of the following software on the computer. Please notice that this list does not include all possible software. To use Destinations successfully, please do not install any of these similar types of software on the computers reserved for Destination:

  • AOL Instant Messenger
  • Yahoo Instant Messenger
  • MSN Instant messenger
  • Kazaa
  • Napster
  • Audio-Galaxy
  • Internet/Computer Games
  • Spy Ware
  • (removeable with adaware and spybot (free))
  • Chat Programs
  • Music Files
  • Any 3-D or graphic
  • Memory intensive video games
  • Ghost Recon
  • Age of Empires
  • Morpheus
  • Grokster
  • Kazaalite
  • Limewire
  • P2P software

To check for installed programs on your computer:

  • Click on the Start menu.
  • Go to Settings, then click once on Control Panel.
  • Double click on Add/Remove Programs.
  • On the right hand panel, click on Change or Remove Program.
  • Scroll up and down the list to search for the unauthorized software the you've installed and remove them immediately!
  • Please be aware of the programs that you remove. Do not remove programs that you did not install. To avoid removing the necessary programs, please check with your IT department for assistance.
